Actually, a duck sheet is one of the more versatile items likely to be found in someone's tack trunk. In some of the warmest climates, a duck sheet, often called a night sheet, is all the horse clothing a horse may require throughout the year. In most areas however, they are used while trailering, after a bath, or as evening attire on cool nights. Often, in cooler climates, they can be used in conjunction with blankets for optimal comfort. Many people like to match their stable or racing colors when they order their sheets.
Usually, these sheets are ordered with 2 straight surcingles and a single strap front. Bias surcingles, contour cut, double buckle front, or closed front are available at no additional charge.
